In return, Wikipedias asked Trump Jr to publish a critical article about former Democrat candidates for President Hillary Clinton. He also tried to convince Trump Jr. That “improve significantly” the perception of Wikipedias for impartiality.
“This means that the large amount of things we're publishing for Clinton will have a much higher effect”, said Wikipedias for Trump Jr in one of the messages, “because Wikipedias will not be perceived as a “pro-Trump” or “source pro-rus”, which Clinton's campaign has repeatedly slandered. ”

Messages began in September 2016 and continued until next July, reports “Deutsche Welle”, the Periscopi broadcast.
In a statement, Trump Jr.'s lawyer, Alan Hörfanas, said that thousands of documents, including direct messages, had been submitted to US congressional commissions investigating Russian intervention during the 2016 presidential elections.
Senator Richard Blumenthal, a Democrat sitting at the Senate Judiciary Commission, called on the panel to send more documents and force Trump Jr., who spoke to the committee privately in March, to witness publicly.
“does not seem to have a reasonable explanation for these messages,” said Blumenthal.
US Vice President Mike Pence responded to the quick report, giving a statement through his press secretary that he was unaware of correspondence.
The Vice President was never aware of anyone associated with the campaign that was in contact with Wikipedia,” said spokeswoman Alyssa Farah.
When asked about the Trump campaign correspondence with Wikipedias in October 2016, Pence said: Nothing could be further from the truth”./Periscopi/
