The alert was issued by Uganda's health office, according to which the virus “Marburg” kills 88% of the people it affects. The country's health office identifies this virus as one of the deadliest there is.
But how can this dangerous virus be spread?
The Marburg virus is transmitted to humans through bites or through blood.
This virus, it is suspected, can also be infected through contact with contaminated clothing. Marburg's symptoms are fever, bloodshed, vomiting and diarrhea. What makes this virus more frightening is that it has not yet been found a cure.
Although more aggressive, Marburg belongs to the same family as Ebola, who killed 11 thousand people in Africa during 2014-2015. /psis.al/
