Statistics Sector Sources suggest that in the January-October period of this year alone at the General Goods Terminal, known as Western Terminal, 53.888 tonnes of goods have been processed, which mainly belong to transit imports towards Kosovo from the port of Durres. The goods being ordered mostly by import by ships in Kosovo are melamine, glass, iron, cement, etc.
Meanwhile, 65,292 more tonnes have been processed at the Eastern Terminal. Of the same sources, it is learned that in the first 10 months of this year, ships have fired 29692 tonnes of import goods, which were later transported in trucks to Kosovo. At the same Terminal have arrived from Kosovo 35.600 tonnes of goods, mainly black for export, which is then headed by ship to other countries.
