AKR, NISMA sign coalition ruling agreement in Mitrovica

The AKR candidate for municipal chairman and at the same time chairman of the Mitrovica branch, Agim Bahtiri and the chairman of the NISMA branch for Kosovo in Mitrovica, Hysni Ahmeti, signed the ruling coalition agreement in the upcoming 2017-2021 mandate today.

This agreement is based on the democratic will of Mitrovica citizens, expressed in the October 22nd Local Elections and the task of building a transparent and accounting government. Also, this coalition agreement between AKR and NISMA is based on the ruling candidate programme for mayor of Mitrovica, Agim Bahtiri.

With this NISMA agreement for Kosovo, it vows to make the overall mobilization of party structures, providing maximum support to Chairman Agim Bahtiri.

After the agreement was reached, President Agim Bahtiri said he would win convincingly in the 19 November runoff elections, thereby eventually sealing the government with clean hands for the next four years in the municipality of Mitrovica. Mayor Bahtiri has made it known that the following days there will be other agreements.

He thanked the leaders at NISMA for Kosovo's agreement reached, expressing conviction that they will have maximum and correct co-operation between these two political subjects.

And the chairman of NISMA for Kosovo, Hysni Ahmeti, I assess as very positive the agreement reached between the AKR and NISMA, saying that November 19th coalition candidate Agim Bahtiri will come out victorious and co-govern together in the next four years.
