“In 2013 The Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo has passed the new Planning Law and the new Construction Law, in which case it has defined new forms of planning for the Community. Urban Development Plans have been replaced with Zone Maps, which present an overall regulatory plan in the city. During 2014 / 2017 Pristina has completed all preparations for drafting the area map. All objects in the city have been recorded in GIS, all geodesic measurements have been made, and all infrastructure installations in the city have been recorded as well. In 2017, the ministry has drafted Administrative Guides on which these” maps must be worked, the VV says through a media communiqué.

The comprehensive process for completion of the System Map in 2018 The area Map will be completed in 2018 with the participation of citizens, civil society and experts. The area map will be initiated at the first meeting of the Municipal Assembly after the October 22nd elections.
