Abrashi declares victory, even though the figures speak against him: I am head of Pristina

LDK candidate for Pristina chairman Arba Abashi has declared victory over Vetevendosje's Shpend Ahmeti.

Abrashi, in yesterday's run-off against Ahmeti, emerged as losers with 307 votes of margin, but that the CEC, during today's day, announced that a mistake has occurred at two locations in this municipality during the introduction of preliminary results data, mistakes that narrow the outcome between the two candidates in 237 votes.

Despite this result, Abrashi says confident that the final outcome of these elections will make him the new mayor of the municipality.

Dear citizens,

We're seeing those who make open and secret coalitions with oligarchs and business/politics just so they can stay in power, now it's also revealed that they've used illegal methods just to get them into power.

The organisation of citizens' transport through NGOs to vote is aimed at exercising influence on their free vote and distorts their popular will.

We'll ask the competent bodies to investigate this case to the end and then decide how to act. But what is increasingly proven is that Pristina already has a new chairman.
