The Central Election Commission has already certified the results of the October 22nd elections. But what was the number of invalid balloting, what are the municipalities leading up with their largest number, and what do CEC officials say?
About 80 thousand invalid votes were estimated to have emerged from the voting process for mayoral and asmblist elections in the October 22nd elections.
Of them 65 thousand and 366 are for candidates for municipal assemblies, while invalid votes for mayors are 13 thousand and 814 Sosh.
Pristina leads with the largest number of invalid votes of 6 thousand and 753, followed by Prizren with 5 thousand and 202 invalid votes for the last elections.
Mamushha's community has the least invalid votes, which are 93, while Klokot has 140 votes that have missed.
CEC officials said they are in the process of a detailed analysis to see the factors that affected such a large number of invalid ballots.
