6 Months of Dedicated Prison for Violence Against Women

With six months on bail, Milan Barac was sentenced by the Constitutional Court of Mitrovica.

The accused has later committed slight bodily injury by Article 188 of the Republic of Kosovo Penal Code.

The defendants had been assigned the detention measure, the measure under which it was due since October 15th.

In the hearing of the defendant's initial examination, he had pleaded guilty to what he had expressed repentance for his work done, and had promised the Court that he would never repeat such an act again.

While at today's hearing, the court pronounced him a six-month prison sentence for the accused, a sentence that would not be executed unless the defendant in the period of a year and six months committed any other criminal offence.
