There are currently 50 patients lying in the Infectious Clinic at QKUK.
Doctors explain that this epidemic resulted from not vaccinating children while appealing to parents to contact children against measles.
Four of the patients are in serious condition, so said director Hamdi Ramadani for public television, until he announced that this epidemic is marking gradual decline.
Ramadani explained that this epidemic spread as a result of not vaccinating children, with the largest number of infected people belonging to small age groups.
By the end of June until now, 800 measles-infected patients have been registered, while over four hundred have been treated in Infective, and two of these cases have ended with fatality.
The largest number of patients is from Lipjan and Fushe Kosova.
