Women beaten with whips in India, reason will terrorize you

Shocking images have captured Indian women, who have been publicly beaten during a strange ritual to free them from “evil breath”.

Each year about 2,000 women run for five hours to enter the ancient Achappan temple in Trichy, southern India.

They kneel down on the ground to be severely struck by a priest. Many people are shocked and pained as their family members see, hoping that they will be healed.
