Vetevendosje does not exclude protests unless Nenad Ricalo is dismissed

His colleagues from the LDK days ago initiated the motion by which they called on Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj to dismiss Rikallon, but only 27 deputies from 68 were present in the Kosovo Assembly Hall.

The opposition took this initiative after Ricalo is accused by neighborhood residents “dania” in Pristina for his actions, of exercising violence in various forms, during wartime in Kosovo.

If the chief of executive does not take action against the opposition's request, then the end of the year could end with protests like two years ago, through which the dismissal of then-Serbian Minister Aleksandar Jablanovic was required.

Vetevendosje MP Rexhep Selimi has told Indexline that citizens and opposition are demanding the dismissal of a government minister Haradinaj, who is being accused by Albanian citizens of crimes against Albanian civilians during the war.

According to him, Haradinaj must take sides, either with Rikalo or with citizens accusing him.

“Tendens to clean up Rikallon and the prime minister's resistance not to dismiss it, only to increase civic response. In this case I trust the citizens who declare Rikalo to be a criminal rather than those who are making him his lawyer. Therefore, I do not rule out protests even if Haradinaj does not fire that lighthouse, Ricardo”, Selimi has said.

According to him, if Minister Ricalo is so important to Government, then Kosovo has a big problem in the future.

We remember that at the time when Isa Mustafa was prime minister, following protests organised by Vetevendosje, he dismissed then Minister Jablanovic from the position of Minister for Communities and Kthim, who had insulted mothers in Gjakova.
The opposition says it expects Haradinaj to take the same action as Mustafa, dismissing Rikalo.
