Photos show workers working around eight different prototypes for the new border walls, which Trump hopes will more effectively stop illegal immigrants from moving to the US area, reports “Mail”, the Persiscope broadcast.

Protoipes are being built in the California desert, near San Diego. Construction began in late September, after being stuck for three months after having some complications regarding firms where they had won contracts to build the wall.
Reporters and photographers were invited by customs and border patrols to visit the construction site this week, where the crew already had large concrete plates.
Each prototype will be up to 30m long and 30m wide. The tender documents say four of the prototypes must be solid concrete and four will be made from other materials.
Building a new border wall was the cornerstone of Trump's presidential campaign. At first, he said that Mexico would pay for the wall, but the Mexican government said repeatedly that they would not pay this bill.
The prototype construction process will last about three more weeks, CBP said. After that, the agency can select a few winners.

He is already afraid of protests as big as those on the Dakota Accessa pipeline last year, Los Angeles Times reported.
The concrete barriers have been placed at entry points at the construction site, and chains have been built along the open area.

The funding to expand the wall beyond its 654-mile range is in doubt.
Cadwell Construction Co., Montgomery, Alabama and W.G. Yates & Sons Construction Co., Philadelphia, Mississippi, was awarded contracts to build a concrete wall and other walls made up of various materials.
The contract for prototypes of other materials was awarded to KWR Construction Inc. Sierra Vista, Arizona, and ELTA North America Inc. Annapolis Junction, Maryland./Periscopi/
