The first need of Turkish forces entered the province of Idlib, Syria, in the late 12 October hours, as part of efforts to create a “scaled area” to end the Syrian war.
The military convoy included about 30 armoured vehicles and over 100 soldiers, mainly special forces and commandos, reports “Hurriyet Daily News”, the Periscopi broadcast.
According to experts, Turkish deployment in Idlib will continue in the coming days.
Meanwhile, about 15 tanks were sent to the area between Oğulpınari and a wall building near the border.
The Turkish military had announced on October 9th that it had launched an intelligence mission in the area over the weekend “to create monitoring positions as part of the operation to be conducted in the province of Idlib”./Periscopi/
