US President Donald Trump says he will not block publication of thousands of government documents, previously classified, related to the former president's murder, John F. Kennedy.
On this issue, Mr. Trump wrote yesterday on the Twitter network that “as president, will allow JFK files to be opened, which were long blocked and secret”.
The U.S. National Archive should release the remaining files regarding the president's murder, John F. Kennedy, 1963.
In 1992, the United States Congress ordered all documents on this murder to be released after 25 years.
However, the president has authority to block the release of documents on the basis of perception that their publicisation could harm military or intelligence operations, law enforcement agencies or external reports.
It is expected that in this publication, there will be approximately 3 thousand documents that have never been viewed publicly and more than 30,000 others that were only partially released.
