The idea of the country's President Hashim Thaci, who has made counterpart Ilir Meta, for Kosovars to be equipped with Albanian passports, as the only possibility of free movement, is being deemed fruitless.
Political analyst Jeton Zulfaj, told Tribuna Channel that this approach of President Thaci is more of a kind of rebellion against the EU itself than anything that can be realized.
And international affairs connoisseur Avni Mazrek said that President Thaci's request to equip the country's citizens with mother-state passports to Albania may be encountered in blockades, as has happened in the case when the EU through the decision on Serbian passports has been unable to move towards EU countries.
