The second bomb car exploded shortly after the first explosion near the former Somalia Parliament building.
Police official Abdullah Aden said that “inside the hotel is going on, but at present we have no record of casualties<x1 evental> and has added that “this hotel is extremely busy and usually there are lawmakers, military forces and civilians”.
The sirens of first aid ambulances have also been heard.
It is not immediately clear who has hands on these attacks, but the Islamic group, Al-Shabab, related to al-Qaeda, has often carried out bomb and weapons attacks in this African country.
Earlier this month, at least 358 people were killed in a bomb attack.
