In addition to 23 citizens of Serbia, there are currently 27 Ukrainians, eight citizens of Macedonia and four citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, said “Tanjug”, Periscopi writes.
The centre is located in the Ternava region in southwest Slovakia and serves for the temporary ban of citizens coming illegally to the state of Slovakia.
On Wednesday, Serbia's Ministry of Labour contacted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs due to the arrests of Serbian citizens in Slovakia after receiving official information from the MPJ, if workers traveled legally or illegally through an employment agency.
“If it is determined that the workers went without necessary documents, the Labour Ministry will send an inspection to agency that may have taken workers to Slovakia to determine what they were meant to do with them”, Tanjug” told “The Labour Ministry.
Slovak police arrested 72 workers Tuesday, including 23 Serb citizens.
The reason is their alleged job contract. Workers have been released from custody, but are now barred from entering the EU. /Periscopi/
