Shacir Totaj has said the result has been expected for him, stressing that with Prizren he will lead after the runoff.
The “is a result that I have been expecting, I have estimated that me and the PDK will be the first to race for Prizren mayor. The reason we didn't get more votes is because there are many candidates and parties participating in this election, which has caused the votes to be distributed. A margin of about 5,000 votes plus 7 per cent in my favour is an indicator for us and gives us hope for a good result in the second round in the” runoff, Totaj said of the indexonline.
He has indicated that they have no red lines with any money and that they are open to coalition with any subject to rule with Prizren.
We haven't opened any talks with anyone at the moment because the elections are only about to be done, but in principle we are transparent and we don't have red lines in terms of co-operation with any party, or with all those who are willing to co-operate with us to contribute and improve the quality of life in the Prizren municipality”, Totaj said.
