Vote stations across Kosovo opened at seven o'clock in the morning and will close at 7:00 p.m. By 11, 10.05% of citizens have gone out to vote, reports “b92”, Periscopi broadcast.

Kosovo Central Election Commission President Valdete Daka said turnout was somewhat lower than voter turnout in previous local elections in 2013.

In Mitrovica, 14.64% of citizens voted by 11 o'clock, the CEC reported.

In the largest city in Kosovo, Pristina by 11 o'clock, according to CEC data, it has been registered at the polling site that by now 13, 06 percent have been released.

The largest turnout according to these data is in the town of Mamushha, mainly inhabited by Albanians, where they voted 23.48%, and the youngest is in Skenderaj, where most are Albanians, where 6.08 percent have emerged.

“Beta” reports the vote in northern Kosovo functions normally. In Mitrovica there are 21,797 registered voters and they will be able to vote in 27 seats. In northern Kosovo, there are a total of 86 seats, within 44 seats.

Conflict in Voting in Gracanica, arrest in Klokot

Some people participated in the physical conflict at the Institute School “Cralj Milutin” in Gracanica, where there is a vote for today's local elections in Kosovo.

Kosovo police immediately reacted and brought participants to the police station in Gracanica.

The incident has not affected the election process at the deployment, praising it as an isolated incident.

Kosovo police kept one person in Klokot because he tried to influence voters for whom they voted before the polling centre in “Sveti Sava” in Klocott.

At that vote, police arrested an election commission member following deliberate damage to the ballot box.

The NGO Democracy in Action, which monitors local elections with 3,000 observers, said everything is happening “without problems and with fewer shortcomings”.

Kosovo Police spokesman Baki Keljan praised that the election process was already calm and that there were no security problems. /Periscopi/
