In a communique sent to the media, they wrote:
The Student Democracy reacts to Pristina municipality's candidate statement for mayor. Selimi Pacolli, no one can move Pristina University and bring it back to the Islamic centre!
Student Democracy in the middle of a communique for the media has reacted to the Pristina municipality's candidate's statement for mayor. Selimi Pacolli, who during the opening of the Pristina municipality government programme, said we would shift it. UP and we'll turn it into an Islamic center!
Meddhim Ramisa from the Association “Student Democracy” says that we students of the Republic of Kosovo are concerned by statements and the candidate plan for mayor of Pristina from the ranks of the AKR. Selim Pacolli about the UP's shift plan to turn it into an Islamic centre!
We students remind Mr. Pacolli that neither Serbia at the time of the occupation has been able to move Pristina university to the church facility that has attempted and forced to place the Orthodox Church in the University Campus and never could, but neither can you, since the UP is a temple of knowledge, not a temple of religious objects.
We as students of the Republic of Kosovo need the development of the Information Technology Sector Laborators, visa liberalisation, university disposal, employment and not Islamic centres! ”
