Bekim Jashari won without a run-off the local elections in the Skokyright municipality on Sunday, when he managed to secure 13 thousand and 681 votes. He will lead with the municipality in the next four years.
Yasar came out first in majority by vote, reaching 85 per cent of the vote in Skenderaj.

In this municipality, Jashar ran as an independent but was supported by the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK). Kadri Wessel's party did not run into Skenderaj.
Four years ago, in the 2013 local elections, candidate Sami Lushtaku's PDK had won more votes than Bekim Jashari on Sunday.
Lushtaku é, who served for 17 years as Skyright Mayor, had secured 15 grand and 653 votes in the first four years elections.
The margin of the vote between Lushtak in 2013 and Jashar in 2017 is about 2 thousand votes for the former head of Skyered by the PDK. /Insider
