Saimir Tahiri explodes on charges, speaks of domestic enemies

Former Interior Minister Saimir Tahiri has appeared at a news conference from the Parliament headquarters. From the beginning of his word, Tahiri admits and alludes that there are attacks and joy within his party. Which is: Rama or Veliaj?

Today more than ever, anyone who knows me personally or not, including family and friends, is shocked at news reports that become public, and especially including my name.

My opponents as politics and not only, today I will not swear. The bullshit of two criminals talking about who has more recognition.

I believe in truth no matter how great a lie.

Today is not an easy day for me, for myself, for my son's family above all. It's a day not easy for my colleagues in parliament.

Two criminals, who are my 10 cousins, have been arrested and mentioned my name. I would never be in this position today. I request immediately from the prosecution without taking advantage of any kind of immunity, to investigate and verify everything.

I feel moral responsibility even for some 10th grade cousins who made the big mistake four years ago, I sold them my own car.

I haven't had and have no report and I don't have any more responsibility to condemn any kind of criminal activity even of these 10th grade cousins who haven't hesitated to mention my name.

I ask no one to protect me, nor my colleagues, nor in the parliament, nor in the government, nor in the prime minister.

I will wait until the end any verification and investigation. I'm not gonna sit back, but I'm gonna work for the truth.
