Russian agents are using sophisticated drones to avenge NATO soldiers' phones in Baltic in order to steal their personal data and spy on troop movements.
Western military officials believe Russia is taking revenge on the personal furniture of soldiers of the North-Atlantic Alliance who are located in the Baltic region.
They say the Russians are using sophisticated antennas and are afraid to avenge phones and dig information into equipment, writes the Daily Mail.
Some of the revenge incidents suggest the Russians are trying to track the movement of NATO troops.
Christopher Léureux had assumed command of the NATO base in Poland in July. Shortly thereafter, he had said that his phone had been avenged.
When he looked at the phone, he had seen that someone had launched the Find My iPhone function.
There was a small map of Apple and at the center of the map was Moscow”, L'Heureux said. “said: Someone's trying to get access to your iPhone. ”
He said he had later learned that a hacker with Russia's IP had tried to break the second layer of password protection and that he had forwarded his movements via GPS.
L'Heureux said he is aware that at least six other soldiers, phones and their accounts were hacked to Facebook.
American soldiers say hackers use information to intimidate them.
