“The exercises included practical exercises of personnel of Russian strategic missile centres, the nuclear submarine crew in service with North and Pacific fleets, as well as long-range strategic bombers”, the ministry said in a statement.
According to the statement, attackers Tu-95 MS and Tu-22M3 carried out the launch of navigation missiles against the objectives of the Kura, Pemboy and Terekta testing, while the Pacific Fleet nuclear missile fired two ballistic missiles from the Okhotski Sea at a target in the Chizha region (Arkhangelsk region).
Meanwhile, Russian strategic missile forces launched Topol's ballistic missile from the Plesetsk space centre to a target in the rank of Kura.
