Prime Minister Edi Rama participated in the opening of the construction site, an investment among the Albanian government in co-operation with the Albanian-American Fund.
In the case of the case, the government chief said this project will turn Vlora's historic zone and will be an added impulse not only for tourists but also for residents in the area.
A region that holds many stories but entirely hidden behind ruins and long-term forgetfulness. We firmly believe that here there is tremendous potential for another important impulse, not only in the function of preserving the remaining values, but also for an extraordinary impulse of the city's economy in the function of tourism development, in the function of that transformation that we have launched and that we will continue with persistence, of Vlora, from a fallen city prey to a headless development initiative, to a reference point for Albania we want”, Prime Minister Rama said.
The project includes the restoration of the Marigo House, the restoration of the Tabak Mosque, the Jewish Way, the clock Square and the Government House.
The implementation of the projects is estimated at an estimated 11m euros worth, with 4m euros being financed by the Albanian-American Fund and 7m euros from the government. /ToopChannel/
