Kosovo Initiative MP Milaim Zeka has been assigned the detention measure for 48 hours under suspicion of fraud and tax evasion. But what the law standards for an MP predict and how the same can lose the mandate.
According to Article 25, of the Parliament's regulation; The loss of the status of the Parliament deputy takes place in the event it is convicted of a prison offense for a period of one and more years.
Therefore, if the pre-procedure judge appoints any measures for effective or otherwise prison, then MP Zeka loses the mandate won in the general elections.
And the MP who will succeed Zakaria is expected to be Naim Bazaj.
The candidate of the Democratic Party of Kosovo from the municipality of Drenas managed to win 6,482 votes.
