US President Donald Trump says he will not block publication of thousands of government documents, previously classified, related to the former president's murder, John F. Kennedy. On this issue, Mr. Trump on the Twitter network wrote that “as president, would allow all JFK files to be opened, which were long blocked and secret”.

The U.S. National Archive on October 26th opened a portion of the remaining files related to the president's murder, John F. Kennedy, 1963. In 1992, the United States Congress had ordered all documents on this murder to be released after 25 years.

However, the president has authority to block the release of documents on the basis of perception that their publicisation could harm military or intelligence operations, law enforcement agencies or external reports. At the arrival of the deadline, an estimated 3 thousand documents that were never publicly and more than 30,000 others were issued, only partially.
