Although under the Constitution it should represent the unity of the people, Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, shortly before the October 22nd elections, is continuing to meet with candidates appointed for mayors.
Just three days ago, President Thaci met with the candidate for the head of the Cline municipality from the former club, which he led before coming to the head of state, PDK.
Opposition representatives have reacted to the issue, considering that such a thing is totally unconstitutional.
They have even warned that following the fact collection, the Constitutional Court can also address Thaci's recent actions.
On the other hand, political connoisseurs say the president has never represented the unity of the people.
On the contrary, according to them, he is supporting the former party candidates that once ruled and that, as they are saying, the first of the state is acting as party president rather than president of all Kosovo citizens. /Zeri/
