US President Donald Trump, and the heads of state and governments of other NATO member states will meet on 11 July and 12 July next year in Brussels.
Secretary - General NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, said last night that this summit will be held at the alliance's new headquarters, near Brussels airport.
Stoltenberg said the meeting would strengthen the “connection between Europe and North America, under which our alliance was formed, until we continue to adjust our alliance for the 21” century.
At the last meeting, in May of this year, US President Donald Trump has criticised NATO leaders for failing to meet their obligations for the alliance's military spending so that the largest burden can be carried out by the United States.
“in response to the threats under way, NATO has implemented the greatest reinforcements of our collective defence for a generation of”, Stoltenberg said.
His statement was made in the period of growing concerns about Russia's insistence, especially on the field of hybrid and cyberwar.
