Today a day before the general local elections have the right to vote 1,882 people serving sentences in domestic prisons and persons in custody, as well as disabled persons.
The vote today, but even tomorrow on official election day, begins at 7am and will last until 19 pm.
Local elections will be held at 3,480 locations in 80 municipalities and the City of Skopje. The right to vote is 1,814,644. There are 1,735.682 voters on the election lists, 77.071 electors with stay abroad, while 1,882 are suffering prison sentences or are in custody.
Candidates for mayors and councilors from 19 parties and coalitions are participating in local elections.
