In the municipality of Rahoveci, November 19th in the runoff will meet AAK's Smajl Latifi and Idriz Vehapi i PDK.
Latifi in the October 22nd local elections received 7,684 votes, or 33.53 per cent, while Weopened 6,785 votes, or 29.60 per cent.
The head of the branch estimated that the result reached in the Rahovec municipality is not satisfactory, though the LDK candidate for mayor, Ibrahim Kryeziu and the mayoral candidates have conducted a very dynamic and dignified campaign based on clear development and better life programmes for citizens.
The non-democratic regimes used by political rivals to convince the citizens of Rahovec to vote they will be cleared and permanently stained in the political engagement of these parties and rival candidates”, said the report by the LDK to Rahovec.
The head of the LDK branch in Rahovec has decided not to support any candidate in the runoff. This decision was unanimously made at two meetings, with the heads of the submarines and the branch leadership.
