Kurti: War - torn budgets stolen from postwar

MP Albin Kurti has criticised the document brought by the Kosovo government for reviewing the budget.

He has said that there are only empty words and nothing concrete in a document of more than 100 pages.

Kurti has said that the governing budget review programme envisions only expenses and looks like a list of desires that can never be met.

The government's “program has far more pages and words than the document of programming principles. The number of contradictions has increased along with the pages. A multi-word program but meaningless. With a list of wishes for rule of law without showing how those desires will be realized. The lack of method degrades development in administration”, Kurti said.

“focus only on expenses and management, not revenues and management. That is a mockery of between 5 and 7 percent, to achieve such figures takes years for recovery. A society destroyed by war and stolen by post-war, cannot achieve such recovery”, he said.

He has also criticised setting many priorities by the government
