Eurodepute Ulrike Lunacek is finishing its mission as a special rapporteur for Kosovo in the Europinan Parliament.
She has held a farewell meeting today in the so-called post, with the country's President Hashim Thaci, while Klan Kosova learns that part of this meeting was her successor, the new rapporteur for Kosovo, Igor 19]oltes.
Since Ulrike Lunacek completes its mandate, rapporteur for Kosovo in the European Parliament has been elected politician and Slovenian lawyer, Igor okulte.
The eurodeput, ãoltes from 2004 to 2013, already served as president of Slovenia's Auditors' Court. In 2008 it is known that he received doctors at the Faculty of Social Studies at Ljubljana University.
He was also seen as a potential candidate for the Ministry of Health, however, he reportedly decided to reject the offer for the post due to political lack in the coalition.
While in 2014, ♫oltes won 10.45% of the vote, securing for the first time a seat as an MP in the European Parliament.
