Key: We'll create an Old Pristina neighbourhood

As for the reconstruction of Old Pristina, Celiaj said that given the fact that as the old Pristina was, it would do construction of an old Pristina neighbourhood, which he said would be behind the Kosovo Assembly and behind the Pristina municipality.

This section behind the Parliament and behind the municipality will be part of the old town where we only have some projects which are the oldest in the city of Pristina, but unfortunately many of the objects have been damaged and yet something remains, there is a foundation which can be preserved and restored. We will restore and maintain the old objects that are there, and then other houses will try to intervene to comply with the appearance of Pristina in the past. So we will do a reconstruction of Pristina. In the part where the AKP, which is the property of the Pristina municipality, we will carry some old houses which are in Tophane, but in other parts of the city, we will move them there, some more we will recompress on the basis of the photos that are what old Pristina looked like and we will create an old Pristina neighbourhood based on factography like Pristina of the old”, Chelaj said.

Pristina President Lirak Celij said that part of his programme is also green market coverage where it is today, which he said would like to return some of Pristina's missing identity.

And this Celaj market said it will be one of Pristina's tourist spots. According to him on this market, it will also be the museum of deportation, as according to him Pristina has a very painful history of deportation where most of Pristina's old citizens have been displaced in Turkey by the Yugoslav regime, and this museum will be a reminder of Pristina's history.

Part of Celaj's governing programme is also the presentation of buildings located inside Pristina squares, where he said he proposed it be done as is the Union's object.

Key: Changing the Face in the City Square

It's the shift of the facade to the city square, the city square is with other neighborhood objects which in other stages will change facades in other neighborhoods as well as how ugly they are and disfigure the city. But, we're taking the example of what we call the Union, this is going to be more or less the character of facades that will be in Pristina's city square. We want to make the square a pleasant place for the eye, well, what's a promenade, but it doesn't relax the square, the facade plates, the watch. And let's not talk about the part behind these objects when we have barracks in downtown Pristina, we have houses that are falling apart and which will be treated”, he said.

All this according to Celij will take place during his 4-year term as head of Pristina municipality.
