In “we won't underestimate” Kosovo, the coach of Iceland's football national Heimir Hallgrimsson said, before the decisive match under the qualifications for the World Football Championship in 2018 in Russia, held tomorrow.
After convincing victory over Turkey as a guest with a score of 3:0, in the pre-day match, Iceland has almost secured participation in the final world competitions, reports the DPA from Rekivik.
“We have said at the first press conference that the last match will decide who will go to the” World Championship, Hallgrimsson said.
Kosovo's national, however, is the last in the Group I qualifications with only one point gained, coach Hallgrimsson says guests from Kosovo have qualities.
Their last matches have shown how far they have gone. They were in the race at all matches, they had their chances, and this is a team that we will not underestimate”, Hallgrimsson told the Morgunlad newspaper.
