Those comments were made by Millaku when asked by KALLXO.com about Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's statement, which was quoted today by the media, said it would force the prosecution to investigate KLA veterans' lists within a month.
We will engage as soon as possible (to execute investigations). But we have legal deadlines, we are not influenced by politics”, Milaku told KALLXO.com.
Millaku said the prosecution works according to the Code of Criminal Procedure and respects the earlier deadlines by law.
While, even State Chief Prosecutor Alexander Lumezi said the institution he is running will not be influenced by any legal or physical person about the terms of handling cases.
These comments Lumez made for KALLXO.com questioned about the prime minister's statement that he would impose the prosecutor to investigate KLA veterans' lists.
By contrast, the media quoted Prime Minister Haradinaj as saying during a meeting with the protest veterans' representatives that he would task the Prosecutor to investigate KLA veterans' lists.
