Gazmend Muharnier, the candidate Democratic League of Kosovo for the Pec municipality, has marked significant vote increases in the 2017 local elections compared to those in the 2013 elections.
According to the Central Election Commission, Muhzier in the October 22nd elections this year won 21 thousand and 568 votes, 50,31 per cent of the vote in Pec, respectively.
On the other hand, in 2013 it had reached 17 thousand and 200 votes, or 40 per cent of the total vote.
Muharnier failed to win without a run-off in 2013, when he had to face the second round with Ali Berisha from the AAK-LD coalition.
This year he scored victory in Pec in the first round.
As for the vote for the Communist Parliament, the LDK also marked vote increases.
In 2013, LDK 11 thousand and 514 votes, meanwhile, 29.60 per cent, in 2017, received 15 000 and 393 votes, respectively, 37.50 % per cent of the total vote.
