Firewood business, forest inspectors arrested

The driver of the vehicle worked on behalf of a subject licensed by the Prrenja municipality for cutting and transporting timbers in cut-offs. The investigative verification has resulted in the forest inspector near the municipality of Prrenja, citizen O. L., allegedly hadn't exercised control in the areas taken by the subject and has not taken measures to prevent illegal logging forests in the area that covers.
Citizens O. L., allegedly favouring this subject to cut unwarranted wood, causing an economic and environmental damage. From verifying the acts of control carried out by Forest Inspectors near the municipality of Prrenja, there is no results in any control conducted in the plot the subject used.
Citizens L. L., the responsible official, is suspected of not controlling the inspector's addiction and has not ordered for control in the areas that used the subject, causing economic and environmental damage in this area.
At the conclusion of the first investigative actions, Economic and Financial Crime Investigation Experts at the Elbasan Police Local Directorate made the arrest in the citizens' flaggrace:
- L., 28-year-old resident of the village of Strava, on duty Inspector Pytor, Prrenjas.
- L., 40-year-old resident of Kukes, responsible for the Prrenjas Municipal Service.
Materials were passed on to the Judiciary District Attorney Elbasan for further criminal action “Use of task”. In addition, criminal proceedings have been launched against vehicle leaders, citizens of R.K., 56, residents in Durres and representatives of the subject, citizens of the S.K., 48 years old resident in Kukes.
