More than 10,000 firefighters are fighting the remaining 16 fires, reports “BBC”
Winds of up to 70 kilometers have contributed to the spread of fires, which have “penetrated” entire cities, forcing many people to evacuate. Notes the eye.net. One of the most affected areas is the city of Santa Rosa, where 3,000 people were evacuated on Saturday.

Hundreds of people remain extinct after at least 22 fires engulfed the entire American state.
Fires have destroyed more than 3,500 buildings and houses and over 68,800 hectares of land so far, around 25,000 people have been displaced.
Updated victims' figures show that recent fires are the deadliest fires in California since 1933, when 29 people died of flames in Griffith Park in Los Angeles.
It is still not clear what caused these fires that started on Sunday evening, but officials blame that the power wires destroyed by strong winds.
