The chairman of California has said that “this is one of the greatest tragedies” this country has ever faced.
More than ten thousand firefighters are facing the remaining 16 large fires.
Strong winds at speeds of 70 km/h have pushed fire through areas forcing people to evacuate.
One of the most affected areas is Santa Rosa where three thousand people were evacuated only on Saturday.
