File Council: RTK lied to VVCI candidate Nexhat Kryeziu

Kosovo's Written Media Council has approved the complaint to RTK's portal over the report that Vetevendosje candidate for MP and the director of the Public Resignment, Nexhat Kryeziu, lived in luxury conditions for himself, and that the poor fled the residences.

The pre-emptive procedure for the release of residences seized in Dardania, Lamella, SU 9/4 entrance 2, level 2 and 3 has started on 3 July.

The move has been taken in support of the Communist Court's firm decision in Pristina, not according to the prosecution's will.

Portal of RTK writes: “candidate of LVV and the director of the Pristina Public Local Company removed the poor from residences built in Milosevic's time”.

The complaint also says that the portal RTK has not published the reaction of the Public National Company submitted on July 3rd 2017. KMKK, after reviewing the complaint, the article, and the unpublished response of the complainer, found that the removal of usurpers from residences has been carried out by competent and not arbitrary verdicts by Nexhat Kryeziu.

So the article contains untruths, and it violates the Code of Written Media. RTK's portal has also been on duty, according to the Shucruara Media Code to publish the complainer's response, after the news was published, but this did not happen.

In this case, Head IV (right to respond) of the Code of Written Media has been violated.
