Ferizaj murder, sentenced to 15 years in prison, Meriton Aliu

The Court in Ferizaj found Meriton Ali guilty today of killing 20-year-old Samir Rexha.

Meriton Aliu was sentenced today to 15 years in prison by the Foundation Court in Ferizaj for the August assassination of Samir Raja.

The prosecution accused Ali of murder and possession without permission.

During the trial, several witnesses had indicated that Rheja's Ali had entered into a conversation at the entrance of a residence on “Rexep Bislimi” and had later heard gunshots that killed Raja.

Reja's mother had been unable to testify at one of the sessions because of her plight.

At the last session, Meriton Aliu expressed regret over what happened, saying he had not wanted that. /Call. com/
