Police have called for people not to approach the area where the shooting has been reported and there has been a great presence of effectives.
A video taken by Eiki Hrafnsson and put on Twitter shows what's going on in the big casino and the area in front of the hotel, which is actually closed.
According to tweeters, there are people trapped in casinos and hotels, and others running to escape bullets.
It's suspected that there might be more than one person shooting. /The Eye
