Hughes was best known for his appearances in Never Mind the Buzzcocks, where he was a team captain between 1996 and 2002, and his Sean's Show TV show, reports “Mail”, broadcast Periscopi.
He was the youngest winner to receive the Perrier award in 1990.








Hughes was believed to have suffered from liver cirrhosis and was eventually sent to the Whiteington Hospital in northern London.
He died just a week after telling 50,000 followers about his fellow citizen that he was in hospital in what was his last posting of social media.
