The Dialog for Catalonia will only focus on independence

The number two of the Catalonian government, Oriol Junqueras, today stressed that the offer for dialogue made in Madrid, will focus solely on the independence of Catalonia, a precondition that closes the door even more for an agreement between the two camps.

This development of Oriol Yunqueras occurred as separatist leader Carles Puigdemont responded by Monday Madrid to demand to clarify his position on the issue of the region's independence.

If he does not reveal the intentions of the Catalan president, Junqueras has been clear to the fact that independence remains the only option.

“Oferta for dialogue presented by the Spanish government should have as reference the building of the Republic and our commitment to independence”, he underlined during a speech at party headquarters “E Republican May”, (ERC) where he is president.

We need to be clear that the best way to get to the Republic and independence is to talk to everyone, at least to the international community.
