During the October 6th session, Angelov pleaded guilty and said he regretted what had happened.
He claimed he was actually trying to help Sekerinska get away from the violent crowd.
He asked the judge to take into account his age and his living alone.
If you send me to prison there will be no one to take care of me”, he said.
The offensive to the Macedonian Parliament began on April 27th, just minutes after being elected at the helm of the Parliament -- for the first time -- an Albanian, Talat Xhaferi.
Xhaferi's election gave way to the process of forming government by the then opposition.
Government supporters led by party V MRO DPMNE, left parliament in a few hours, leaving about 100 people injured behind, including journalists and 10 MPs.
The video recordings showed Angelov pulling him for the hair, and as a result she was injured, with his bones bleeding.
In another video footage, the LSDM leader, Zoran Zaev (who would later become prime minister), is seen as being injured in the head.
The worst had been the leader of the opposition Movement for Reform party Choose a working directory - DPA, Zijadin Sela, who had been beaten until he had lost consciousness and dragged across the floor of Parliament.
The violence had continued for about two hours, sparking questions about why parliament remained vulnerable for so long by police.
VMRO DPMNE, now in opposition, had said the attack on Parliament has been a spontaneous event.
