Clinton is accused of misusing state position by selling uranium to Russia

Two US House committees will conduct an official investigation into an agreement in 2010 that saw 20 per cent of the American uranium supply sold to a Russian company, amid allegations that bribes were paid by former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Representative Devon Nunes ( R-Californi, chairman of the Chamber Intelligence Commission, announced the investigation of the agreement at a press conference Tuesday, reports “Russia Today”, the Periscopi broadcast.
We won't get a conclusion at this time, but one of the things we're worried about is whether or not there's an FBI investigation, and if so, why Congress wasn't informed about this case,” said Nunes.
Nunes, who previously gave up the investigation into Russia's alleged intervention in the 2016 elections, said the investigation into “Uranium One” will be conducted by the Chamber Intelligence Commission and the House Supervisory Committee.
A uranium deal included the sale of part of a Canadian mining company in Russia's Russian Rosatom Corporation, giving the company control of more than 20 per cent of America's uranium supply.
This was negotiated under the administration of President Barack Obama. Clinton, who was state secretary at the time, had to approve the agreement on the Foreign Investment Commission in the United States (CFIUS).
The investigation was prompted by a report by the “The Hill” last week, which claimed that the FBI had discovered “significant test” that officials with the Russian atomic energy agency had bribed an American uranium transport firm called Transport Logistics International, before the <x4Uranium One” was approved.

The FBI also claimed it uncovered evidence that Russian nuclear armaments officials had spilled <x0 milliona” into the Clinton Foundation.
“If the main media were to cover the uranium scandal and Russia has 20 per cent of uranium for any reason, and many people understand what those reasons are, I think this is your story of Russia”, Trump said referring to charges by Clinton that his campaign had collaborated with Russia in a way to ensure victory in the 2016 presidential elections.
Clinton blew up Friday, calling the charges bad “ ”, adding that there was no “no reliable evidence”. /Periscopi/
