The ally of the left-wing Catalonian government, the CUP, estimated today that any form of dialogue with Madrid is impossible and asked the leader, Carles Puigdemont, in line with the rest of Spain.
The CPP, where ten deputies are necessary for Puigdemont to get a majority in the regional Parliament, announced it was preparing protests throughout Catalonia next week.
“Dialog is impossible, mediation is impossible”, CUP spokesman Nuria Gilbert told the media, who has raised pressure these past weeks on Puigdemont so that he can state the region's independence formally and clearly.
