Caday-Bujupi: PDK's LDK are celebrating survival

According to Vetevendosje MP Donika Kadaj-Bujupi, LDK and PDK are celebrating survival after the results in the October 22nd local elections.

Even though the LDK and the PDK lead out with won municipalities and participation in the runoff, Kadaj-Bujupi says these municipalities have lost their bookies.

“Those who are celebrating victory are celebrating survival. If you see what the municipalities led by these parties from 2013 and how many have now fallen, it shows that they are celebrating survival. In the municipalities where we are in the run-off, they are estimated to be their” betting, she has said, citing Pristina municipality, in which there will be a run-off between Shpend Ahmeti of VV and Arban Abrashi of LDK.

Caday-Bujupi has declared that VV has increased by 100 per cent, even though it has failed to win any municipality without a run-off, but will enter the second round in six municipalities. He has declined to make comparisons between the June Central and October local elections, when the VV was the first party, and now came out third.

This is the second time we've been competing in local elections. In 2013 we had 65 thousand votes, and this year we have 130 thousand votes. Consequently, numbers say we have doubled at all assemblies in Kosovo municipalities. We're in a run-off in six municipalities. The organization's targets are high. On June 11th, we have confirmed that VV has increased 100 percent. Of the 16 deputies we had only one in the country with 32 deputies. Comparison cannot be made between local and central elections. The VV has increased by 100 percent in both campaigns. In June we have a double of deputies, and in October we have twice the number of asmblastists”, she said.
