Following the Serbian List's victory in the June 11th parliamentary elections over other parties from the Serb community, the confirmed Serbian List victory in the October 22nd local elections, issued by this political party as the most powerful subject representing Serbs in Kosovo institutions, estimates connoisseurs of political, Albanian and Serbian developments.
Politologist Ramush Tahiri, speaking of Radio Free Europe, stresses that the Serbian List's victory in municipal elections confirms the fact that Belgrade's influence is very powerful and crucial to any political position and political position of Serbs in Kosovo.

But that's what I'd call it differently, that's actually Belgrade. Kosovo Serbs asked Belgrade. With these elections, local and parliamentary, Kosovo Serbs have handed themselves over under Belgrade management. This is the essence of confession and will continue further the situation where Kosovo Serbs are no longer political factors in Kosovo, but they have delegated Belgrade to talk on their behalf about everything that is important to them. They have simply given up the opportunity to influence their own lives. This is their legitimate choice and this is an order for the international community and for the political elite of Kosovo Albanians, that, in fact, Kosovo Serbs should be exceeded and directly discussed on all topics with Belgrade”, Miletic said.
